beco build is the side of our business where we feel we can have the most impact on equality and environmental sustainability in construction. While change can be made within large organisations, we decided that starting fresh might allow us to expedite things a little! So we're diving in on site, getting our hands dirty and trying things out that might have been a bit more intimidating on larger sites.
We hope to grow our team with people who may find it a little harder to get placed on normal sites through factors out of their control, then also giving them exposure to the roles that they might not normally get the opportunity in.
We will also start using unconventional materials that are better for the environment, and reusing materials .. even those that may have ended up in landfill to try and encourage others to do the same. Add smart waste management and lots of plants into the mix and we hope to green things up nicely!
